Leigh will be Principal Soprano for the National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company 2016!
Leigh is currently on tour with the National G&S Opera Company playing Fiametta in The Gondoliers, covering Yum Yum in The Mikado and covering Josephine in HMS Pinafore.
She will have some more exciting news to announce soon!
"It’s hard to pick one, or even five stand out performances from the cast, everyone is so strong and the effort from each actor is palpable. But Leigh Coggins as Yum-Yum has THE voice of the show – soaring, clear as a bell, and she is as hilarious as she is tiny in her beautiful furisode kimono."

"There are some performers in the show with very impressive credits, such as Rebecca Caine (originating Cosette in Les Miserables in London as well as being the first Christine Daaé in the Canadian cast of Phantom of the Opera) and Leigh Coggins (covered and played – Christine and Cosette on the 25th Anniversary Tours of Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables). These two extremely talented women – absolutely stole the show for me."

"Lovers Nanki-Poo and Yum-Yum (Matthew Crowe, Leigh Coggins) are as attractive a couple as you could wish for, Ms Coggins comic timing nicely contrasting with Mr Crowe’s slightly nerdy Woosterish persona."

"Coggings sings as the little, sweet and dewy-eyed Yum-Yum and it’s surprising to hear the highest and most heavenly notes come out of her small body."

"Leigh Coggins’ Yum-Yum thankfully survives, her billowing soprano soaring across the stalls and bringing warmth to The Sun, Whose Rays Are All Ablaze."
